About your photographer

Hello all!

I'm a Colorado native and I've recently put down new roots here in beautiful Nebraska! I started Flora and Fauna Photography in 2022 when I finally decided to slowly but surely start making a dream of mine come true - to become a photographer.

I've had some sort of a camera in my hands basically since I can remember and can usually be found snapping photos of everything - from the tiniest of insects to mountainous landscapes, and everything in between.

In addition to this fun and adventurous job, I also love working with children, and have been in many different educational and athletic roles in the past 10 years. I am also a mother to one crazy boy who keeps me on my toes.

If you're wondering if there's some weird glitch on my website or Facebook or Instagram that blocks out faces, it's not a glitch or problem with your device, but rather a strange, but I guess necessary, precaution. Lawmakers in our country have recently made it legal for individuals to produce, and I will say it bluntly, because that is the blunt truth of it, A.I. generated child sexual assault material and keep that material for their own use. I, as a mother, a teacher, a compassionate individual, will absolutely not contribute to the possible abuse of a child by posting identifiable images of them for just anyone to see and use on the internet, which is why I will no longer be posting any identifiable photos of children under the age of 18. Unfortunately, that means possible clients like yourself do not fully get to see some of my work, or get to see it heavily altered to protect identities, and that may negatively impact my business, but it is something I strongly stand by.

I hope you take a look to see some of my work and see the world through my creative lens, and I hope my work, experience and creativity only continue to grow from here.
